It All Started With a Messy Divorce
Almost 8 years ago, I hit rock bottom.
After a brutal breakup with my partner of 9 years, I went from having it all to having nothing.
I thought I had it all, a beautiful wife, 2 amazing kids, a lovely home, car, my gorgeous Labrador Benny, as well as a well-paid job working for my father-in-law’s construction company.
In just 6 months I found myself alone, without a home, depressed and dead-broke. And the worst part? I’d done nothing to deserve it.
I Couldn’t Even Afford a Train Out of Wigan
You don’t want to hear my life story but it was that bad I literally couldn’t afford to catch a train out of Wigan to start over.
Why am I telling this story to a complete stranger you ask?
Well, because in just 12 months from February 2012/13 I went from poverty to profit in an extraordinary turn of events and all because of one reason.
All those ‘things’ I owned was nothing more than baggage and now, for perhaps the first time in 30 years I was completely free.

Just think about that for a second.
Because I think it’s something we can all relate to. And the more I thought about it the more it rang true.
And then the doors started to open!
I was at a point in my life where I had literally nothing.
And it was time I made something.
